Meet Dr. Ramon A.C. Esteban

Dr. Ramon Esteban is a Board Certified orthopedic surgeon in Fishersville, VA. He joined the group in 2005 after finishing his training. He earned the 2015 Best Bedside Manner Award for Shenandoah Valley and Charlottesville, VA. In 2016, he served as Vice-Chairman of the Surgery Department; and in 2017 he served as President of Augusta Health Medical Staff.

Dr. Esteban received his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia. He obtained his Medical Doctorate from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC and completed a comprehensive and intense residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX.

Orthopedic Specialties

Dr. Esteban’s special interests in orthopedics include hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, as well as sports medicine.

Dr. Esteban is pleased to provide comprehensive orthopedic care to his patients and has a vested interest in their well-being and recovery after an orthopedic surgery. He enjoys working with, and helping people regain their functions so they can return to doing what they love. He has personally experienced several orthopedic surgeries, including carpal tunnel release, trigger finger release, ACL reconstruction (twice), knee arthroscopy, and a total knee replacement.

Outside the office, Dr. Esteban spends time with his wife and four children. He enjoys cycling, camping, golfing, and watching football.
